Wylie East Dance Company Auditions
Auditions for the WEDC are held annually during the spring semester of the school year. Students must have a prerequisite of Dance 1 is required for students to be eligible to audition for the company. Candidates will be taken through a ballet barre, as well as taught a movement phrase from one a company dance. The performance of a candidate will be evaluated by the company director. Selection of the company members will not only be based on students technical ability and potential, but their consistency throughout the year in the dance program.
